Recently, we were delighted to welcome talented hair educator Paul Thompson into the salon for a dedicated short hair cutting training day with our team.
And what a day it was!
Developing Our Short Hair Cutting Skills
Short hair can be incredibly creative, but achieving a beautiful result takes skill, precision and a real understanding of shape.
From sharp bobs and cropped cuts to softer, textured short hairstyles, every detail matters.
During our training day, Paul encouraged the Be Beautiful team to step outside their comfort zones, experiment with different techniques and build their confidence when working with shorter hair.
The team worked on a variety of skills including short hair cutting, clipper work, wolf cuts and bobs, giving everyone the opportunity to develop and refine their techniques.
It was fantastic to watch the team's confidence grow throughout the day.
